Chips for a card table. One phone hosts; guests join from a browser, offline.
TableChips replaces the chips at a real card game, played with a real deck. One phone hosts the table over its own hotspot; everybody else scans a code and plays from their browser, iPhone or Android. Nobody needs the internet, an account or to install anything.
It keeps the chips and nothing else: it never deals cards. You shuffle, you deal, you play as you always have, and the app counts.
Games
• 7½ (set i mig) and blackjack, with a bank: everybody stakes against it and the bank settles each hand from the table.
• Poker: a moving button, blinds, call amounts and side pots.
• Manual mode for any other game: pots, bets and payouts by hand.
Why this one
• Guests install nothing. The host serves a web page; an iPhone and an Android at the same table both just open a browser. Anyone with the app can join through it instead.
• No internet, ever. Everything runs on the host's hotspot: it works in a mountain hut, a campsite or a village without signal.
• Up to ten players, each on their own device, each with their stack in figures big enough to read across the table.
• Unlimited undo and a full log of every move. You can always type the amount.
• Built for a long night: phones reconnect, seats can be recovered, and the table survives the host app being closed.
• Catalan, Spanish and English from the first screen.
TableChips counts chips. It has no money, no payments and no accounts: what a chip is worth is up to the people at the table.
