Live rain radar with a 45-minute nowcast. Open core, no ads
Don't want to get wet, or want to follow a thunderstorm? meteocool shows rain and storms as they happen and where they are heading next.
Features
• Live radar, updated every few minutes: Germany, Switzerland, France, Czechia, Poland and the United States
• Nowcast: watch where the rain moves over the next 45 minutes. In our experience the first 45 minutes are pretty spot-on
• Lightning strikes live, from Blitzortung.org
• Storm cells, with a 3D radar view of each one
• Precipitation types, as the radar sees them
• Rain forecast for your location, comparing several weather models
• Base maps: match system, light, dark, OpenStreetMap or CyclOSM for biking
• Radar colour maps, including two for colour vision deficiency
• Your location on the map, followed as you move
• English, German, French, Italian, Polish and Czech
Rain alerts, the notification before rain reaches you, need Google's push service and are only in the Google Play version.
