Turn websites and X/Twitter threads into readable, shareable Markdown
Social Thread Markdown turns website links and X/Twitter posts into clean, readable Markdown. Share a link to the app from your browser or another app, or paste it manually. Preview the result, edit it, and share it with your favorite note-taking or publishing app.
Websites:
- Create a Markdown link card with the page title as a heading, source URL, description, and preview image when available.
- Read Open Graph, Twitter Card, and standard page metadata.
- Save website cards in history and reopen saved Markdown offline.
- Website conversion creates link previews, rather than full article downloads. Some websites require sign-in, block previews, or only expose content through JavaScript. Images remain remote links and may need a connection.
X/Twitter:
- Expand individual posts or full threads by sharing the last tweet.
- Include photos and quoted posts.
- Choose whether to include original links, tweet dates, and author usernames.
- Tweet fetching uses the third-party api.fxtwitter.com service.
Everyday tools:
- Preview, edit, and share Markdown.
- Select and delete individual history items, with confirmation.
- Customize images, source links, text suffixes, and offline saving.
- Choose a dark, light, or system theme.
- Find the installed version and release notes in Settings > About & Changelog.
